煙草在線據(jù)《新印度快報(bào)》報(bào)道編譯　　9月19日，印度聯(lián)邦衛(wèi)生部長(zhǎng)Harsh Vardhan說(shuō)，對(duì)癌癥宣戰(zhàn)，阻止消費(fèi)引起致命疾病的產(chǎn)品，印度政府贊成嚴(yán)格執(zhí)法，以遏制煙草產(chǎn)品的使用。

　　他在宣布地區(qū)癌癥中心成為國(guó)家癌癥研究院的時(shí)候說(shuō)，作為嚴(yán)格執(zhí)行反煙草、反煙草消費(fèi)法律的行動(dòng)組成部分，印度政府很快將會(huì)討論加強(qiáng)《卷煙和其他煙草產(chǎn)品法案》的措施。

　　印度聯(lián)邦衛(wèi)生部長(zhǎng)Harsh Vardhan說(shuō)：“為調(diào)查《卷煙和其他煙草產(chǎn)品法案》及其執(zhí)行情況而建立起來(lái)的特別工作組，已經(jīng)向政府提交了為加強(qiáng)現(xiàn)行法律而即將采取的措施的報(bào)告。這份報(bào)告將被提交給內(nèi)閣。”

　　Harsh Vardhan在強(qiáng)調(diào)癌癥的預(yù)防與早發(fā)現(xiàn)的必要性的時(shí)候說(shuō)，為確保人們遠(yuǎn)離所有引起致命疾病的致命物質(zhì)，還必須開展大量的工作。

　　Harsh Vardhan還說(shuō)，將會(huì)在全國(guó)范圍內(nèi)啟動(dòng)一場(chǎng)癌癥的早檢測(cè)早發(fā)現(xiàn)的活動(dòng)。

　　他還說(shuō)，印度各邦政府應(yīng)該嚴(yán)格執(zhí)行反煙法律。

　　Harsh Vardhan說(shuō)：“與煙草產(chǎn)品和酒精做斗爭(zhēng)就是與死亡做斗爭(zhēng)。我強(qiáng)烈倡議實(shí)施嚴(yán)厲的反煙草法律。”

　　他還說(shuō)，除了建立更多的癌癥研究機(jī)構(gòu)之外，還必須努力教育人們對(duì)抗這種疾病。他說(shuō)：“預(yù)防教育和培養(yǎng)積極的態(tài)度應(yīng)該是工作的核心。”

　　他說(shuō)，應(yīng)該優(yōu)先進(jìn)行衛(wèi)生健康教育，他還說(shuō)，喀拉拉邦能開發(fā)出一種模式。

India: Centre to Take Steps to Strengthen Tobacco Products Act

　　Declaring war on cancer and discouraging consumption of the products that cause the deadly disease, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said here on Friday that the government was for strict implementation of the laws to check use of tobacco products.

　　As part of the strict implementation of the laws against tobacco and its consumption, the government will soon discuss measures to strengthen the Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), he said while declaring the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) here as a State Cancer Institute.

　　"The task force set up to look into Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products Act and its implementation has submitted its report to the government about the measures to be adopted for strengthening the existing laws. The report will be placed before the Cabinet," the Union Health Minister said.

　　Stressing the need for prevention and early detection of cancer, Harsh Vardhan said that a lot needs to be done to ensure that people keep away from all deadly things that cause the killer disease.

　　The Union Minister also said that a movement would be launched across the country for early detection of cancer.

　　Harsh Vardhan also noted that all the State Governments should strictly implement anti-tobacco laws.

　　"Fight against tobacco products and alcohol is a fight against death. I strongly advocate for stringent anti-tobacco laws," the Health Minister said.

　　He also said that there should be a strenuous effort to educate the people against the disease apart from having more cancer institutes. "Preventive education and positive attitude development should be the focus," he said.

　　Health education should be the priority, he said and added that Kerala could develop a model in this regard. Enditem
